Superman (2025) David Corenswet Costume Reveal

David Corenswet’s Superman Suit was recently revealed on James Gunn’s Threads. Here is my first impressions and my likes and dislikes:

Pros:

• I love the “Kingdom Come” inspired logo on the chest looks just right, covering his chest and looking a bit battle damaged

• If you look closely, you can see Superman’s iconic trunks! I am very excited to see those return

• I love the cape, it looks long and homemade, and the bright red boots look fantastic

• David Corenswet just LOOKS like Superman and that iconic hair curl is perfection

• Love the brighter colors, I loved Henry Cavill as Superman but he was always a bit… muted let’s say

Cons:

• The suit looks a bit big on Corenswet, a bit baggy like it doesn’t fit him (This could be because he is sitting down)

• I don’t like all the lines and textures, it reminds me of the MCU suits recently and the material looks like the same as the GOTG Vol. 3 suits, which is good but maybe not good for a Superman costume

• Not a super fan of the collar, I feel it makes David Corenswet’s neck look long, but I’m sure it will look better standing up

Overall I really like this suit and think that James Gunn knows what he’s doing!
