DC Studios’ Clayface (2026) Finds Its Lead in Tom Rhys Harries

DC Studios' upcoming horror film, Clayface (2026), has finally announced a cast member. According to Deadline and The Wrap, among others, actor Tom Rhys Harries, known for The Gentlemen (2019) and How Kids Roll (2024), has been cast as Clayface and will star in the 2026 film.
The Wrap shared that the Matthew "Matt" Hagen version of Clayface, the second man to take up the Clayface mantle in the comics, will be the version portrayed by Harries in the film, but will incorporate elements from the original Clayface in the comics, Basil Karlo.
Clayface is set to be released on September 11, 2026. The film is scheduled to begin production in the United Kingdom in the fall of 2025. Tom Rhys Harries will star as Matt Hagen/Clayface. The film will be directed by James Watkins from a script by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini.
This is awesome. Clayface (2026) needed a casting badly, as it comes out in a just a bit over a year. I know pretty much nothing about this actor, but I’m sure he will do a great job.
Clayface is set to be released in theaters September 11, 2026!
