Superman
Film

Superman (2025) is set to be the first film in the new DCU. Directed and written by James Gunn, the film promises to be a heartfelt and character driven story, delving into Superman's struggles being raised human but being from another planet. The film is deep into post-production is expected to make its July 2025 release date. The film stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, among others.
Peacemaker - Season 2

The second season of Peacemaker (2022-Present) is going to be the second TV show in the DCU. The sophmore season will be a DCU-cannon sequel to the first season, which was set in the old DC Extended Universe (DCEU). James Gunn has confirmed that the first season is "loose-cannon," and that all events from the first season that will be mentioned in the second season will automatically become offical cannon (confusing, I know). Peacemaker (2022-Present) seems to be moving along smoothly and is expected to come out in late August 2025 on Max. The season stars John Cena as Christopher Smith/Peacemaker, Danielle Brooks as Leota Waller Adebayo, and Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase/Vigilante, among others.
Untitled Krypto Seasonal Shorts

The Untitled Krypto Seasonal Shorts is an upcoming series of shorts set in the DCU. They will release seasonally after Superman (2025)'s release in July. They will star the same Krypto we see in Superman (2025). The shorts are done or close to done, most likely in post-production. The shorts currently have no actors attached to the project.
Lanterns
TV Show

Lanterns (2026) is set to be the third TV show in the DCU. Currently filming, little about the plot is known except that the two starring Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan and John Stewart, will be on Earth investigating a murder. The show is set to wrap filming in July 2025, and is on track to release in early 2026 on Max. The show stars Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, Aaron Pierre as John Stewart/Green Lantern, and Kelly Macdonald as Sheriff Kerry, among others.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow (2026) will be the second film in the DCU. It is set to be an epic space adventure adapting the comic book of the same name, in which Supergirl meets and befriends a girl named Ruthye and goes on a murderous quest for revenge. Filming is currently underway, and is expected to be finished by May 2025, leaving over a year in post-production with plenty of time to make its June 2026 release date. The film stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, and Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, among others.
Clayface

Clayface (2026) will be the third film in the DCU. It will be an R-rated horror film following an actor who injects himself with a substance to stay relevant, only to become entirely made of clay. The film is in pre-production and is expected to start filming in mid-2025, on track to hit its September 2026 release date. The film currently has no actors attached to the project.
Untitled Blue Beetle Animated Series

The Untitled Blue Beetle Animated Series is an upcoming DCU TV show. The show will be animated and will be a DCU-cannon sequel to Blue Beetle (2023), a DCEU film. Similarly to Peacemaker (2022-Present), any events mentioned in the show that happened in the film will become DCU cannon, everything else is loose cannon. The show is in development is expected to arrive in 2026. The show will star Xolo Maridueña as the voice of Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle.
Sgt. Rock

Release Date: TBA, rumored to be the vacant May 29, 2026 slot.

Sgt. Rock is an upcoming DCU film (if the rumored release date is true, then it will be the second DCU film). Recently officially confirmed after long being rumored, the film is set to follow Sergeant Rock, a solider fighting in World War 2. The character previously made a cameo appearance in Creature Commandos (2024-Present). The film is in pre-production and is expected to start filming in mid-2025. No actors are currently attached to the project.
Waller

The show will star Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Steve Agee as John Economos, and Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr, among others.

It will follow the team based on the DC Comics, and María Gabriela de Faría's The Engineer is expected to appear in the film after her appearance in Superman (2025). The movie is currently in development and it is reported that a script has struggled to come together and the film is no longer a priority. The movie has no actors officially attached to the project.
