Kevin Feige Confirms Marvel Studios’ Troubled Blade Movie Will Be Rated “R”

Blade (2025) has had a very troubled production, but is apparently still happening. Kevin Feige recently shared on the new Marvel podcast that Blade (2025) will in fact be rated “R.” This will make it the second MCU film to be given this rating, after this year’s Deadpool & Wolverine (2024).

I am not surprised, as the old Blade movies were also rated “R.” I am a bit worried that Marvel is messing a bit with their arguably biggest audience- kids and teenagers. If Marvel continues to make more R-rated content (especially of their most famous characters) they might turn their younger audience off - or more likely, their parents will turn it off. We will see how Marvel plays this card in the future.
