Marvel Studios Reveals The Cast For Avengers: Doomsday (2026) In A 5 Hour Long Livestream

SPOILERS FOR LOKI (2021-2023)
POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR THUNDERBOLTS* (2025), THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS (2025), AND AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY (2026)
On March 26, 2025, Marvel Studios went live on multiple platforms, with the title of the live just being "ANNOUNCEMENT." Soon, a chair popped up on the screen with the name "Chris Hemsworth" on the back of it. People online started speculating that maybe this was a Thor 5 announcement due to the fact that Hemsworth plays Thor in the MCU, but about 15 minutes later Vanessa Kirby's name popped up on a new chair. At this point, Marvel had taken to socials and posted a new logo for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday (2026) with text that said "Now in Production," so it was now clear that the livestream was a casting announcement for Doomsday.
Over the next 5 and a half hours, Marvel Studios revealed a new cast member every 15-ish minutes, for a total of 27 confirmed cast members for Avengers: Doomsday (2026) by the end... with some notable people missing. The confirmed are:

Ok first off- this is fantastic. I mean this cast is STACKED, Loki returns after becoming the God of Stories in the series finale of Loki (2021-2023), all Fantastic Four are returning after The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) this summer and most of the Thunderbolts are returning.. except Taskmaster (the rumors that she will die in Thunderbolts* (2025) are seeming more likely). Legacy actors from the Fox X-Men universe returning was a nice surprise and tons of people online are already going crazy over that. But! Where is Tom Holland's Spider-Man or Mark Ruffalo's Hulk? We are missing some heavy hitters!
From what I have gathered online, from both Marvel and fans, this is not the 100% complete cast list. This is just a list of the main characters; anyone not mentioned here will only be in the film in a supporting role or as a cameo. There is no way Holland's Spider-Man will not be in Doomsday, he'll probably be a cameo because of Holland's busy schedule.
I am super excited for Doomsday!
