Tom Holland was taken to the hospital on September 19, 2025, after hitting his head during a stunt gone wrong on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026) at Leavesden Studios in the UK. According to Deadline and ComicBookMovie, the actor suffered a mild concussion while filming an action scene, though thankfully no one else was injured.
Production has been temporarily paused to give Holland time to recover, but sources say the break shouldn’t affect the film’s July 2026 release date.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the upcoming movie sees Holland back as Peter Parker, alongside familiar faces like Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, and new cast members including Sadie Sink and Jon Bernthal. While the studio hasn’t shared many details yet, insiders say Holland is expected to be just fine.
I am glad Holland is expected to be okay and I hope filming gets back on track soon.
