Spider-Noir First Set Photos Reveal First Look At Nicolas Cage As The Title Character

The upcoming show Spider-Noir (previously titled Noir) has gotten some set photos. The series, which is set to star Nicolas Cage as the title character, started filming in August 2024 and is expected to come out sometime in 2025 on MGM+ and Amazon Prime Video. I will put the photos below and share my thoughts afterwards.

This is pretty cool! This is supposed to be the first television series set in the SSU (Sony Spider-Man Universe), and I hope that it turns out well. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller of the Spider-Verse and Lego films are executive producers on this series, so hopefully they can bring their experience to this show in a meaningful way. Nicolas Cage seems to be in a classic detective-like trench coat and in a bit of a predicament in these photos. The show is to be about “An aging and down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York is forced to grapple with his past life as the city's one and only superhero.”

Spider-Noir comes out on MGM+ and Amazon Prime Video sometime in 2025!
