DC Studios' second feature film, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow (2026), has begun filming in the United Kingdom this week. This was confirmed earlier today by Screen Daily. Filming is also supposed to commence in Iceland within the following months, and go on until May. Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow (2026) is set to star Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, and Jason Momoa as Lobo. The film is directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Ana Nogueira. The synopsis reads as follows:
"While celebrating her 21st birthday, Kara Zor-El travels across the galaxy with Krypto, during which she meets the young Ruthye and goes on a murderous quest for revenge."
This is really cool! This film is one my most anticipated films of 2026 and I am very excited to see the second outing in the DCU. I think Milly Alcock is a great choice for Supergirl and I have high hopes for this project.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow soars into theaters June 26, 2026!
