The Russo Brothers Confirmed To Be Directing Avengers: Doomsday And Avengers: Secret Wars

Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of four of Marvel Studios most profitable films, have been confirmed to be directing Avengers: Doomsday (2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (2027). Marvel revealed this at San Diego Comic Con. The Russo Brothers are known for directing Marvel box office hits Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). Stephen McFeely, who co-wrote all the previous films listed above with Christopher Markus, will be writing solo for Doomsday and Secret Wars.

I think this is a great decision for Marvel Studios. The Russo Brothers being attached to this is going to definitely up the hype for the film and Stephen McFeely definitely knows what he is doing. All the news coming out of San Diego Comic Con is so awesome. I’m hyped!
